Watermelon truck in San Antonio

You don't get watermelons like these in Hiroshima.

I'm trying to walk to/from work (30 minutes, fast) three times a week. The higher humidity recently is making this a sticky proposition.

hi! my name is juhi and I am from India. I was searching for pictures on the hiroshima paper lanterns and I loved your photographs on flickr. I don't know how to contact you, so I am leaving a comment on flickr and you blog, please do get back in touch with me, I would like permission to use you photograph/s in our magazine. We are a non-profit organization and our agenda is to keep Hindi language and literature alive for the many expatriates living outside of the country. The NGO is based in the US but this magazine is printed in India. It is distributed only to members of the organisation. The magazine is called "Hindi Jagat" and we are publishing a special on Hiroshima this August. Of course you shall be given full credit and we would send you copies of the magazine as well. Please do get in touch with me, I don't know how else to contact you! :)
my email is juhi.rituparna@gmail.com

Thanks!
juhi

PS: I never knew that the books with names on them in the cenotaph were aired! I went to Hiroshima five years ago and well, one doesn't really need to say more about how it affected them...

Juhi, I really appreciate you wanting to use my photos. For the record, I tried contacting Juhi as soon as I could through the email address posted, but I got no response. I wonder if Juhi ever got my email.

Everyone, Masami takes great photos documenting her life and daily travels throughout Prague -- take a look!
